Alzheimer's disease

AD studies often fail when the model or observation window is mismatched. Plaque, Tau phosphorylation and neuroinflammation do not progress in lockstep, so a single time point rarely supports a complete conclusion.

5xFAD develops Aβ plaques early and is suited to anti-amyloid efficacy. rTg4510 models Tau phosphorylation and aggregation with a longer intervention window. The two pathways provide complementary evidence.

Our AD work spans multiple models, ages and sexes, combining plaque and Tau pathology with Iba1, GFAP, Aβ40 / Aβ42, CSF biomarkers and cognitive endpoints.
